Community Oral Health students will participate in a three day in person bootcamp where students will take part in research day, visit Union Rescue Mission (URM), and interact with dental professionals in and around USC.
Ostrow partners with URM to provide emergency and comprehensive dental services to those experiencing homelessness. The USC–URM Dental Clinic is dedicated to restoring oral health and smiles for Skid Row residents.

Assignment 1: Application of Knowledge/skills to develop/fund/operate/evaluate/and sustain a community based oral health program to address the need of unhoused community.
Assignment 2: Develop educational material to address Environmental protection issue in a community based dental clinic.
April 11- Finalize joint report about their Boot Camp Assignments at URM.
April 14 – Oral presentation/discussion of Boot Camp assignments (virtual)
