The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry’s Orofacial Pain and Oral Medicine Programs will welcome certificate and master’s students to their comprehensive Bootcamp 1 this summer. This five-day intensive experience serves as the foundational clinical component for students, combining hands-on training with expert instruction. The students will participate in a carefully structured curriculum featuring diagnostic techniques, extraoral examinations, and specialized therapeutic interventions.
The program includes a unique cadaver session at Keck School of Medicine, clinical shadowing opportunities in the Orofacial and Oral Medicine Center, and mock patient interactions to develop practical skills.
Faculty experts Dr. Clark and Dr. Vistoso will guide students through daily hands-on activities, culminating in clinical competency assessments that prepare them for success in the program and their future practice.
