The Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC Distance Learning and Telehealth program is excited to announce the return of the OPRAD (Oral Pathology, Radiology, and Diagnosis) Onsite Bootcamp.

Norris Dental Science Center

📅 Dates: June 23-27, 2025
📍 Location: Room 133, Norris Dental Science Center
🕘 Schedule: Daily sessions from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
🍱 Meals: Lunch provided daily (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM)

Comprehensive Five-Day Curriculum

This intensive bootcamp offers practicing dentists and oral health professionals an unparalleled opportunity to enhance their diagnostic skills through hands-on training, clinical shadowing, and advanced seminars. The program seamlessly integrates theoretical knowledge with practical application under the guidance of renowned faculty members.

  • Live Patient Rounds in Oral Medicine

Advanced Diagnostic Training

The bootcamp covers essential diagnostic skills including:

  • Quantitative Salivary Function Testing with video demonstrations
  • Allodynia Mapping and Anesthetic Testing
  • Cranial Nerve Examination techniques
  • Fungal Testing protocols and demonstrations
  • Basic Sleep Study Data Analysis for apnea patients

Assessment and Certification

Comprehensive evaluation methods ensure participants master the material:

  • Essay Examinations
  • Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Testing
  • VIVA VOCE oral assessments
  • Virtual Patient Testing

Practical Skills Development
