Dr. Roberta Jurash’s professional journey began as a Physical Therapist at Stanford University Hospital. After discovering her true passion, she enrolled at the prestigious University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry, graduating in 2004. She then devoted the next 17 years of her life to working at a family dental practice in Palo Alto, where she found a natural way to merge her physical therapy and dental skills by focusing on TMJ issues. As her understanding of these issues deepened, she realized the need for further education to provide better care to her patients. Dr. Jurash achieved a Masters Degree in Orofacial pain and her board certification in Dental Sleep Apnea, which enabled her to tackle complex cases of undiagnosed Orofacial Pain. In addition, she teaches Orofacial Pain to dental students as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California- San Francisco.
