Dr. Robert Peters is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Geriatrics, Special Needs, and Behavioral Sciences at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC. He mentors students in providing care for medically compromised and special needs patients. Dr. Peters is a distinguished former leader in the U.S. Navy Dental Corps, where he held multiple leadership roles including clinic director, program manager, and command executive officer. He earned his dental degree from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, completed advanced training in comprehensive dentistry at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School, and holds a master’s degree in health sciences from George Washington University. Dr. Peters is a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry and is currently a resident of master program for geriatric dentistry.
