Elizabeth Brummel, RDH MPH

Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry - Department of Public Health and Community Outreach
Elizabeth has been a licensed dental hygienist since 2010 and is the Past- President of the Los Angeles Dental Hygiene Society. She began her dental education after graduating with a professional dental hygiene license from San Joaquin Valley College. Her love for community work inspired her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from California State University, Chico (2020), and a master’s degree in public health from California State University, Northridge (2022). Elizabeth has worked as a community oral health educator at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). She is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the University of Southern California (USC), where she focuses on providing underserved populations access to preventative dentistryand education by working full–time with the U.S.C mobile clinics and teaching for the Community Oral Heath Masters Program. Elizabeth is passionate about providing oral health education, inspiring new dental professionals to care for all communities, and bringing preventative dental services to people who need it most.
