Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry, Director of Radiology Clinic of Ostrow School of Dentistry

Dr. Elham Radan graduated with a DDS degree from Shahid Beheshti  (Formerly Melli) University, Tehran, Iran in 1992.  She completed a 3-year graduate program in the University of British Columbia, Canada, and obtained her Master’s of Science in Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology in 1999. She has taught in several schools including UBC, UCLA and USC.  She has been teaching at USC since 2012 and serves as the Director of the Oral Radiology Clinic. Her research interests are radiation safety and protection, interdisciplinary/collaborative medicine, imaging modalities and new technology diagnostic approaches.

OPR 701 1 unit Bone Pathology and Oral and Maxillofacial  Radiology
Lectures and seminars on the role of conventional dental imaging in the diagnosis of head and neck pathology along with the basics of various medical radiographic modalities such as MRI, PET-Scan, and CT.
OPR 708 2 units Diagnostic Radiology
Seminars and lectures of interesting head and neck radiological cases covering images interpretation using conventional and advance dental imaging
OFPM 704 1 unit Bony Pathology, Radiology and Advanced Imaging for Dental Residents 
Lectures on the osseous and odontogenic pathologies in the oral and maxillofacial region, plus information about the various imaging methods used to examine this anatomic region.
