Dr. Armaity V. Austin (Vaghaiwalla) is Program Director and Department Chair of Family Medicine at California Hospital Medical Center, where she also serves as Faculty Director of the Integrative Medicine Track and leads the community medicine curriculum. Dual board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine, she received her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine and has practiced for over 20 years.
Dr. Austin is affiliated with multiple Los Angeles hospitals, including Keck Medical Center of USC and California Hospital Medical Center. She specializes in treating diabetes, obesity, and arthritis, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to serving underserved populations. With her extensive credentials and 20+ years of teaching experience, Dr. Austin continues to make a significant impact on medical education and patient care through her integrative approach to medicine.
